This book is a collection of writings on the heritage, folklore, place-names and local history of Sligo. These articles and essays were written by Aisling Doddy, from Ballymote in south County Sligo, who had a lifelong interest in the local history and folklore of her native county. Aisling died in 2020 at the age of 37. This album is mostly made up of duets with my friend Tara Finn. On this record she plays concertina, flute, pipes and tin-whistle, while I play the fiddle and guitar and also sing a couple of songs.
