Side Tracks: Album Outtake
These tunes ended up on my CD with piano accompaniment. This take is from the previous day of recording when we were trying out some other ideas. Here, Eoghan Burke plays guitar, and the fiddle is double-tracked on the second tune, giving an unusual sensation of duetting with myself; the guitar works very nicely, but maybe not the double fiddle! As with all the piano-accompanied tunes on the album, here Eoghan and I played together as a duet in the studio, rather than adding the guitar afterwards.
